Privacy
Your font work stays on your device.
This page explains the local project data Typelure uses and the separate network requests that analytics and advertising can make.
Effective September 20, 2026
Local font and image processing
Typelure processes opened fonts, imported artwork, glyph outlines, metadata, proofs, validation, and font compilation in your browser. The app does not send font files, glyph outlines, project names, or proof text to a Typelure application server.
The active project and a pending font selected for opening may be stored in your browser using IndexedDB. That data remains associated with the browser profile and device until it is replaced, cleared through the browser, or removed by clearing site data.
No account profile
The current free editor does not require an account and does not maintain a cloud project library. Typelure does not currently collect payment details. If accounts, cloud sync, or paid plans are introduced, this policy will be updated before those features are made available.
Google Analytics
Typelure can use Google Analytics 4 on the public site when analytics is explicitly enabled for the live deployment. Google Analytics may process device, browser, approximate location, referral, page-view, and interaction information and may use cookies or similar identifiers under Google's policies.
Typelure does not intentionally send font files, glyph data, project names, or proof text as analytics parameters. You can use browser privacy controls, content blockers, or Google's available opt-out tools to limit analytics collection.
Advertising
Typelure does not currently request or display Google AdSense advertisements while the site is under quality review. The publisher-verification meta tag and ads.txt record remain present, but the editor does not mount an ad unit or load the AdSense advertising script.
If advertising is enabled in the future, this policy and the consent experience will be updated first. Third-party vendors, including Google, may then use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. Google and participating partners may use advertising cookies to personalize ads where the user has made the required choice; other vendors or ad networks may also serve ads when disclosed in the consent interface.
Users will be able to manage the applicable choices through the on-site consent controls and Google's advertising settings. Ad placement will not grant an advertiser access to the font canvas, local project storage, imported files, proof text, or glyph data. A future paid entitlement is intended to omit the ad components and their AdSense request.
Third-party policies and choices
Google describes its data practices and advertising controls in its Privacy Policy and My Ad Center. Browser settings can clear Typelure's local IndexedDB data and any cookies. Blocking third-party requests does not prevent local font editing.
Retention and security
Locally stored projects remain until browser site data is cleared or the app replaces the active project. Typelure does not receive a copy that can be restored from a server, so keep independent source and export backups. No browser application can guarantee absolute security; keep the browser and operating system current.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. New data practices, including accounts, cloud storage, billing, or additional service providers, will be described before those features are enabled.
